Kids Woodland Fairy Costumes
The kids woodland fairy costumes on sale this year are absolutely enchanting. We’ve found some special ones that will be the dream of any little girl & some big ones too.

Fantastic Fall Fairy Costumes
Perfect for Halloween with all the colors of the season, this is one of the cutest costumes we’ve seen along with being great value for money too.
With its green top & layered skirt in orangey hues & lots of flower details it’s just so pretty. It also comes in lots of sizes from extra small (age 4) all the way up to x-large (age 12).
Pumpkins & other Halloween symbols are taken from this season & this dress would fit right in with the spirit of the holiday.
There are many other options you could consider when choosing a kids Halloween outfit. For toddlers take a look at the pumpkin pie costume or the sweet dragonfly.
Sugar & Spice Fairy Costumes
Although this costume is called the sugar plum fairy it would make a perfect costume for woodland fairies with its deep berry colors.
Woodland fairy costumes tend not to be quite so gaudy or glittery as other types, but instead choose shades found in nature in flowers & leaves & berries. The deep burgundy & leafy green accents look wonderful on this young lady.
Many Halloween fairy costumes come with wings included, but some of them don’t. Take care to note exactly what’s included with each outfit in case some items need to be purchased separately & have a look at the lovely accessories for woodland fairy costumes that are available.

Woodland Butterfly Costumes
In the forest you will find lots of fairies with butterfly wings & here’s a great example.
We love the patterned skirt & those magnificent wings & we wouldn’t be surprised if your little girl could actually fly in this one.
Butterfly dresses are easily adaptable to make into fairy costumes because they already have wings & of rich vibrant colors that little girls love.
There seems to be some debate over whether all fairies can fly. Some may not have wings but are still able to fly. Although they don’t seem to be an absolute necessity it’s difficult to think of these supernatural sprites without thinking of flight. And what little girl doesn’t want to be able to fly & flutter & sprinkle her magic. A set of fairy wings really puts the finishing touches to a special costume.

Dawn Fairy Kids Costumes
As fresh as day break, this perfect pastel outfit of silver, pink, yellow & lilac has a lovely delicate butterfly print & would make the prettiest of fairy princess costumes.
If you are looking for other costumes that come in more delicate pastel colours, then the spring fairy is another great one to look out for.
We hope that you have found the inspiration you need, but if you are still stuck for ideas there are many other options available. How about mermaid costumes, cowgirl costumes, princess costumes……..and many many more..
How to Make a Woodland Fairy Crown
This video was designed for dolls, but could be easily adapted for people.
Dressing up, whatever the occasion, encourages children to use their imagination & develop their creativity.
The fairy world is one of enchanted moments, granting wishes & revelling in the ability to perform magic. But with kids woodland fairy costumes the scope for education is even greater.
Fairy names are often beautiful sounding names that come from wild flowers or elsewhere in nature. With a wildlife book you can teach your daughter what the different types of flower look like. She can make up her own names too. How about Princess Meadow Poppy or Queen Apple Blossom – there’s endless scope for making up different characters for her play time.
And if you fancy a field trip then there’s even more opportunity to learn the names of trees, plants, birds & other animals. Even if you don’t live in the countryside you can still find plenty of wildlife to learn about in a city park. When it’s part of playtime learning becomes lots of fun.
